Mrs. Gbeminiyi O. Pat Adekoya, fondly known as Gbemi, is a multi-talented, brilliant individual celebrated for her adaptability, determination, and commitment to family, career, and community. She is married to Mr. Victor Gbolahan Adekoya, and their union is blessed with three successful children who embody the values of excellence and dedication.
Gbemi’s educational journey began at Remo Secondary School (RSS) in 1974, where she laid the foundation for her academic success. She completed her Advanced Level studies at the same institution from 1979 to 1981 before proceeding to the University of Ibadan, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with honors in 1984. After completing her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program in Abuja, she returned to the University of Ibadan for a Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, which she obtained in 1986.
In 1990, Mrs. Adekoya relocated to the United Kingdom, where she transitioned into the housing sector, showcasing her adaptability and drive. To deepen her expertise, she pursued and earned a Master’s degree in Housing from Southbank University. She is a distinguished professional and a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing (MCIH) and the Chartered Institute of Management (MCIM), gaining recognition for her dedication to excellence and her impactful contributions to the housing sector.
Beyond her professional achievements, Mrs. Adekoya is a passionate philanthropist committed to fostering growth and creating opportunities within her community. Deeply connected to her hometown of Sagamu, she actively sponsors the education of brilliant students, exemplifying her unwavering dedication to supporting the next generation and promoting educational advancement.
