Meet our Personality of the Week, Mrs. OluSola Ladejobi Taiwo-Micheal, who hails from Ogere Remo in Ogun State. Born on May 1st, she is happily married and began her education at Ogun State Polytechnic Staff Primary School in Ojere, Abeokuta, completing her primary education in 1985. She then attended Remo Secondary School in Sagamu, Ogun State, graduating in 1991. In 1998, she completed her secondary education and subsequently pursued higher education at Tai-Solarin College of Education in 1999, where she studied Mathematics and Primary Education.

Mrs. OluSola Ladejobi Taiwo-Micheal is an educationist, entrepreneur, and entertainer with a diverse professional background. She is an Education Expert in China, a Singaporean Whiz Educational Instructor, and an IB (International Baccalaureate Organization) Examiner. In addition to her educational roles, she is the CEO of TessMoore Tea Import and Export Co., Ltd. in China, and the Director of Finance at Chengdu ThinkTess Trading Company Limited in China. Her initial motivation for pursuing these roles was to achieve financial stability. However, what sustains and drives her growth in these positions is her passion and strength.

During her time at Remo Secondary School (RSS), Mrs. OluSola Ladejobi Taiwo-Micheal was actively involved in various extracurricular activities and held several positions. She was a member of the RSS Choir and Cultural Group, performed with the RSS Finemate Performance Drama Group, and played handball for the school team. Her favorite subject was Government, and although she didn't have a specific favorite teacher, she appreciates all her teachers from junior 1 to senior 3 for their impactful contributions and the significant roles they played in her education.

One of Mrs. OluSola Ladejobi Taiwo-Micheal's fondest memories from her school days involves a geography lesson. As explained by her, “There's a small spot for geography near the assembly area. Her geography teacher wanted to show the class something and asked them to move to the spot, but they couldn't see anything because it was not well maintained. After the class, she told the teacher, Mr. Amoo, that she would go to the principal's office and lay down the complaint about the ground. However, she was afraid to confront the principal, Chief Olusegun Okeowo, directly. Instead, she wrote a letter and threw it through the window into his office early in the morning before he arrived. The best part was that her letter was seen; the principal brought it to the morning assembly and read it aloud.”

Her favorite quote is "Nothing will work unless you do." — Maya Angelou
