Hon. Adebayo Glory Oluwatimilehin, born on January 31st, hails from Igbaye town in Odo Otin Local Government, Osun State. His educational journey began in 2007 when he was admitted into Remo Secondary School (RSS), starting in JSS 1 Yellow. During his time at RSS, he was appointed as the class captain in JSS 3 by his remarkable class teacher, Mr. Oni. As he progressed to the Senior School in the Science Department, SS 1 - 3 Red, he graduated in 2013, marking the end of a significant chapter.
In the same year, Adebayo gained admission into Government Technical College, Ikorodu, Lagos, where he immersed himself in the study of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. Over three years, he acquired both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, ultimately serving as the mail administrator (Student Organ) in Tech 3.
In 2017, Adebayo embarked on a new academic journey at Yaba College of Technology, where he studied Industrial Maintenance Engineering, completing both his National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND). Beyond academics, he became actively involved in school politics and was eventually appointed as the Director of Contact & Mobilization for the National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) South West, Nigeria.
Transitioning into the professional realm, Adebayo has evolved into a skilled Facilities Manager, with over six years of specialized experience. His expertise spans maintenance and reliability, with a proven track record of achieving no downtime objectives. Leading dynamic teams and fostering collaboration across diverse departments have been fulfilling aspects of his career. His comprehensive understanding of Facility Management, Project Management, Vendor Management, Health & Safety Environment, and Cost Control has solidified his reputation as a leader in his field.
In addition to his career in Facility Management, Adebayo ventured into politics in 2021, where he was the flag bearer for the Action Democratic Party and contested for the seat of a councilor at Igando/Ikotun LCDA of Alimosho, Lagos. He currently serves as the State Youth Leader for the same party in Lagos State, Nigeria.
Beyond his professional life, Adebayo indulges in a variety of interests. Pounded yam is his favorite food, and he enjoys table tennis, traveling, networking, and driving. The color orange holds a special place in his heart, symbolizing his vibrant personality. He firmly believes in the power of responsibility, asserting that a responsible leader attracts responsive followers. Adebayo's circle of friends, including Ayannuga Victor, Bakare Afeez, Sonuga Damilare, Awonusi Segun, Shittu Oluwaseun, Oreoluwa, Okueso Korede, and Wahab Azeez, are a source of strength and camaraderie.
In terms of extracurricular activities, Adebayo finds inspiration in media, particularly through streaming and photography. He currently leads the team that initiated the registration of his class set with the national body.
Reflecting on his memorable moments, Adebayo fondly recalls his days as the class captain in JSS 3 Yellow. The memories of trekking from school to home, often after investing his money in another venture, bring a smile to his face. His Yoruba teacher, Mr. Ajayi, holds a special place in his heart, and the lessons learned during those days continue to resonate with him.
