Dr. Abdulraheem Aduragba (DBA) was born 17th of March into the family of the Alhaji and Alhaji Jamiu Abdulraheem Laro, a native of Ilorin, Kwara State.
His educational journey began at Mamak Nursery and Primary School, Sagamu where he completed her Primary Education in 2002, earning him First School Leaving Certificate. He commenced his Secondary Education at Remo Secondary School, Sagamu where he obtained his Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSCE) in 2008.
Dr. Abdulraheem Aduragba is a highly skilled and accomplished professional in the field of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Project Management, with extensive experience across various sectors of the Oil, Gas, Energy, Civil and Construction Industries. A Nigerian national, Abdulraheem has built an impressive career marked by his deep expertise in advanced NDT techniques, which have made him a sought-after specialist for both onshore and offshore inspection projects across Africa, the Middle East, and beyond.
Holding multiple certifications in NDT Level III, including Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI), and Electromagnetic Testing (ET).
Dr. Abdulraheem's qualifications reflect his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of technical proficiency. He is also certified in advanced techniques such as Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT), Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD), and Pulse Eddy Current (PEC), showcasing his capability to handle complex and critical inspections. His IRATA certification further highlights his versatility in conducting inspections in challenging environments in rope access operations.
Dr. Abdulraheem's career trajectory includes key roles in renowned companies such as Sonomatic Ltd, Brentford Construction and Engineering Ltd, Fortis Engineering Service Limited, and Hertzmatic Limited. In these roles, he has consistently demonstrated his ability to manage large-scale projects, ensuring that inspections and maintenance activities are conducted efficiently and to the highest safety and quality standards. His work spans several countries, including Nigeria, the United Arab Emirates, Chad, and Azerbaijan, where he has been instrumental in projects involving robotic tank inspections, LRUT and SRUT of pipelines, and advanced corrosion mapping.
In addition to his technical expertise, Dr. Abdulraheem holds a Phd in Business Administration (DBA), Master's degree in Project Management and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Chemistry, providing him with a solid foundation in both scientific and managerial aspects of his field. His academic background is complemented by certifications in safety and operational management, such as the Exxon Mobil Safety Induction, H2S Gas Safety Induction, and HUET certification.
Dr. Abdulraheem's professional journey is also marked by his leadership roles, including his position as the Director of Operations at Alff Petroleum & Gas Investment Ltd and General Manager of Operations at Ardunny Engineering Nigeria Ltd. In these capacities, he has successfully overseen operations, led teams of specialists, and ensured the delivery as a certified management professional, also his a distinguish fellow of African institute of public administration (AIPA).
Dr. Abdulraheem's lifelong friends include Adeyemi Ibrahim, Jihom Ibrahim, Oyebisi Jemil and Adigun Rasheed. His admiration for (Late) Mrs. Iyiade, the then Yoruba teacher is noteworthy.
His love for RSS is enormous, and many lovely memories still linger in his mind to this day especially the delicious fried fish from Iya Laje.
