Meet Adekunle Model Oluwatosin, née Adesoye our Personality of the Week, she’s a proud old student of Remo Secondary School of the 1992/1998 Class Set. Born on June 6, she is happily married and currently resides in the United Kingdom.
Her academic journey began with a National Diploma in Accountancy from the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, and continued with a B.Sc. in Accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University. Her thirst for knowledge later led her to Cardiff Metropolitan University in Cardiff, Wales, where she earned a Master’s degree in Financial Management.
Oluwatosin started her professional career as an Accountant with the Ogun State Local Government Service Commission in Abeokuta. Today, she works in the health sector in the United Kingdom, while also running her own business as the CEO of Harrycrown Beauty World.
Beyond her career, Oluwatosin enjoys swimming, reading, exploring new places, and travelling the world. Her favourite meal is pounded yam with egusi soup, and her favourite colours are red and navy blue. She is guided by the principle: “He who comes to equity must come with clean hands.”
Back in her school days at RSS, Oluwatosin was an active sportswoman, representing the school in long-distance races including the 800m, 1500m, and relay events. She also played on the school’s handball team. Her favourite subject was Accounting, and she fondly remembers Mr. Jinadu, popularly known as “Standard,” as her best teacher. Her closest friend during those years was Bolanle Idowu, now Bolanle Ojo.
Oluwatosin’s life is a beautiful blend of academic excellence, professional achievement, and personal fulfillment, and she continues to inspire those around her through her journey of growth, grace, and purpose.
