Meet Abayomi Emmanuel Amororo, our Personality of the Week, a proud son of Remo North Local Government Area in Ogun State. Abayomi is happily married and continues to live a life rooted in service, growth, and community impact.
Abayomi’s educational journey began with a Diploma in Social Development, which laid a strong foundation for his passion in community service. He later obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a discipline that broadened his understanding of people and social structures. To further his expertise, he earned certifications in Social and Environmental Sustainability, equipping him with the skills to drive meaningful change in society.
Today, he serves with distinction as the Acting Operations Manager at the Ogun State Community and Social Development Agency in Oke Mosan, Abeokuta. His career in community development is fueled by a genuine love for assisting poor communities to achieve growth and to feel the impact and presence of government in their lives.
Abayomi is a proud member of the 1998/2004 set of Remo Secondary School. His school days remain unforgettable, especially moments in the classroom with his favorite teacher, the late Mr. Afanu. He excelled in Government and Literature, subjects that sparked his love for learning and critical thinking. His best friend during those formative years was Oyetade Ayobami, a friendship that continues to hold a special place in his heart.
Outside of his professional commitments, Abayomi enjoys simple pleasures that reflect his vibrant personality. His favorite meal is rice and beans, a dish he never tires of. He finds joy in meeting people and traveling, activities that allow him to explore new experiences and broaden his horizons. Blue and white are his favorite colors, symbolizing calmness, clarity, and a deep sense of peace.
