Born on October 24, Ayodeji hails from Ogun State, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, and he is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He is also a member of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN). His journey into finance was inspired by a deep-seated passion for numbers, which began during his secondary school days. According to him, “I have always loved numbers. I knew early on that accounting was my calling, and I pursued it wholeheartedly”.
Ayodeji Emmanuel Adebayo is an accomplished finance professional and Chartered Accountant with a strong background in strategic financial management and organizational development. He currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer within the financial services industry, based in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and ensuring regulatory compliance all while driving cost efficiency and business sustainability.
During his time at school, his favorite subjects were Mathematics and Financial Accounting, and his favorite teacher was Mrs. Debo. Though he held no formal positions while in school, he made many lasting friendships and retains strong ties to his classmates and his Favorite Food is Spagetti.
